I don't know about you, but I hate it when
I have a ton of bread left in the frig that turns or rock or no
one is willing to eat it. I don't like to waste it.
So what do you do with old bread... make bread crumbs!

Ingredients:
  • 8 ounces bread (any)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil or veggy oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

Directions:
  1. Preheat a 400°F oven.
  2. Dice and chop bread with crusts into 1/2 inch cubes.
  3. Scatter diced bread in a large baking sheet or roasting pan.
  4. Add rest of ingredients, tossing everything together with your hands.
  5. Bake 11-15 minutes, or until it is crispy.
  6. Cool at room temperature, and put bread and seasonings in a plastic bag.
  7. Roll with a rolling pin, or before putting in plastic bag, use your food processor or blender to mix this up. I personally like using the blender!
  8. Keep crumbs in sealed bag in fridge up to 1 to 2 weeks.

I am really excited!! I won a Domino's Pizza House Party!! On June 20th, party guests across the country will gather to enjoy a delicious dinner on the house — from Domino’s!
My guests will have a hard time choosing a favorite from among such choices as the Philly Cheese Steak, Cali Chicken Bacon Ranch™, Memphis BBQ Chicken, Buffalo Chicken, Honolulu Hawaiian or Pacific Veggie. I'll be getting a party pack with a $75 Domino’s gift card to buy one of each Domino’s American’s Legends™ pizzas and other special treats to make every moment of this get-together as delicious as your Domino’s meal.
House Party is such a fun site. If you haven't already signed up you should give it a try. House Party gives you the oppertunity to host a party on them. Keep checking back with them for chances to sign up for parties they need host for. If you are chosen as a host they will send you everything that you need except, the guest, and the decorations.
This is the second party I have been lucky enough to host. The first one was Bliss Chocolate by Hershey's. It was a very fun time had by all. No doubt this party will be just as fun, like chocolate, who doesn't like pizza.

This is a super simple recipe that has four ingredients, and one of my favorites!

  • 2lbs of boneless chicken breast
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 container of Progresso Italian bread crumbs
  • Vegetable oil

Start with 2lbs of boneless chicken breast

Don't forget the Progresso Italian bread crumbs,
and scramble up your egg until the eggs are frothy.

Slice your chicken breast up into chicken
tender size pieces, or buy pre-cut chicken tenders.
I use a filet knife and that works like a dream.

Put your tenders, a couple at a time, into the egg
mixture make sure they are covered. Next roll your tenders all around
in the bread crumbs until they are also completly covered, then set aside
Now your chicken tenders are ready to fry.

Heat your veggy oil on medium high, but watch your oil so it doesn't get too hot.
Through out your frying process you may need to turn it down a bit,
so that the oil doesn't get too hot, and also because you may have bread crumbs
at the bottom of your pan and you don't want them to burn either.

As you are frying up your tenders slide them into a
pre-heated 200 degree oven. This will
keep your tenders warm, but won't dry them out.

Now you are ready for dinner. Not only did we have our favorite tenders,
(which by the way also taste fantastic with a little fresh lemon squeezed on them)
but we also had steamed broccoli, and Pasta With Garlic Cream . It can't get
any easier, or taste any better.
